PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced its men’s and women’s handball teams for the National Games scheduled to begin on December 6 in Karachi. On Friday, President of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Handball Association, Bahr Karam, announced the players selected through trials who will now train in the camp until the Games begin. Trials for the men’s team were held at Hostel No. 9 Ground, while the women’s trials took place at Jinnah College Peshawar. The selection committees finalized a 20-member men’s squad and a 16-member women’s squad. The selected male players include: Wisal Ahmad, Malik Hasan Zaib, Khizar Hayat, Muhammad Hasnain, Inam Khan, Sherbaz Khan, Muhammad Farooq, Ali Hasan, Abu Bakar, Muhammad Salman, Azizullah, Muhammad Aftab, Nauman Khan, Muhammad Rizwan, Irfan Ali, Liaqat Ali Khan, Muhammad Sufyan, Muhammad Sami, Muhammad Farhan, and Mian Ahmad. The selected female players include Haseeba, Mah Noor, Bushra Bibi, Sana Muneer, Bibi Khadija, Sawera, Laiba, Tooba Saleh, Malaika Iqbal, Sana Gul, Iqra, Nadia Bibi, Javeria Zahoor, Alishbah Khan, Ayesha Iqbal, and Samia Fazal. President Bahr Karam expressed hope that both Khyber Pakhtunkhwa teams will deliver outstanding.
