PESHAWAR: In an important match of the ongoing All Pakistan Bunyan Al-Marsoos Football Tournament at Bannu Sports Complex, Sorani Red Football Club defeated Azad Football Club Pezo Lakmroth by 2 goals to 1 after a tough competition.

The special guests of the match included RSO Peshawar Kashif Farkhan, former DSO Khabibullah Khan, and Pakistan WAPDA’s renowned hockey player Hamid Khan. All the distinguished guests were welcomed by the tournament committee.
On this occasion, Kashif Farkhan, while talking to media representatives, said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is taking all possible steps for the welfare and development of sports and players. He said that practical efforts are underway to solve the problems of sports grounds in Bannu as well and the improvement of football grounds will be given priority.
After 32 teams from Bannu Division, 8 provincial teams from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, while representative teams from Balochistan, Punjab, and FATA will also participate in the tournament.
The final match of the tournament will be played on June 30, 2025. This magnificent tournament is being organized with the mutual cooperation of the Pakistan Army, District Administration, and Bannu Sports Department, with the aim of attracting youth towards positive activities and promoting talent at the national level.
