BAHRAIN: Pakistani cueist Muhammad Hasnain has created history, becoming the national cueist IBSF U-17 World Champion.
In the final match of the championship underway in the capital of Bahrain, Manama, national cueist Muhammad Hasnain has won the title by defeating Wales’ Ryley Powell 0-4 in a one-sided match.
16-year-old Hasnain Akhtar showed excellent play from the start of the game and did not give the opponent a chance to take control.
Earlier, Hasnain Akhtar defeated Poland’s Oliver Nizalik 0-4 in the semi-final match, Poland’s Krzysztof Czapnik 1-3 in the quarter-final and Oman’s Mutassim Al-Saadi 0-3 in the pre-quarter-final.
