PESHAWAR: Three more matches were decided in the first Police Martyrs Inter-Regional Sports Competition football event. Dera Ismail Khan, Malakand, and Bannu emerged victorious in their respective matches.
Regional Sports Officer Kashif Farhan was the chief guest on the occasion. He was accompanied by Sports In-charge Naeem Gul, Chief Organizer Akhtar Hussain, Media Coordinator Line Officer Muhammad Tanveer, and other notable figures.
The first match was played between D.I. Khan and Mardan, in which D.I. Khan won by 3-1. Adnan, Zulfiqar, and Raheel each scored one goal for D.I. Khan. The lone goal for Mardan was scored by Ameen Khan.
In the second match, Malakand Region defeated Peshawar Region 4-0. Waqas, Haroon, Ijaz, and Hamza scored one goal each for Malakand.
The third match was between Bannu and Kohat Region, in which Bannu secured a 4-0 victory. Suhrab scored two goals for Bannu, while Kabir Khan and Israr contributed one goal each.
