PESHAWAR: A successful lacrosse training camp was organized in Mingora, Swat by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Lacrosse Association. Players from Swat district actively participated and received training from qualified coaches. On this occasion, the General Secretary of the Pakistan Lacrosse Federation, Engineer Tayfoor Zareen, and Secretary of the Swat District Association, Hasnain, were also present.

Under the instructions of Syed Salar Jahan, President of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Lacrosse Association, a grassroots development plan is being implemented across every district of the province to promote lacrosse. As part of this initiative, a lacrosse clinic was successfully conducted at Sweet Futsal Arena in Mingora, Swat.
A total of 30 players participated in the camp, where they were introduced to the basic rules, drills, and techniques of lacrosse. The aim of the clinic was to raise awareness about the sport among young athletes and enhance their skills.

All participants were provided with free lacrosse sticks and other essential equipment by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Lacrosse Association to ensure effective training. The clinic was successfully organized by Swat Lacrosse Association Secretary Hasnain, who played a key role in engaging local youth with the sport.
At the conclusion of the event, Pakistan Lacrosse Federation Secretary Engineer Tayfoor Zareen distributed sticks, certificates, and commemorative gifts among the players. He praised Hasnain’s efforts and commended his dedication to promoting lacrosse in Swat. He further stated that the provincial association is committed to promoting the sport in every district and grooming talented young players to represent Pakistan at national and international levels.
