PESHAWAR: The road cycling competitions held under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Under-21 Games concluded successfully at Regi Model Town, Peshawar. Young cyclists from across the province participated in the event and showcased impressive performances.
The chief guest at the closing ceremony was Syed Azhar Ali Shah, President of the Pakistan Cycling Federation and South Asian Cycling Confederation, while Sohail Feroz, Director PDA Regi Model Town, also attended the ceremony as a special guest.
In the road cycling events, the Mardan team delivered an outstanding performance, securing three gold medals and claiming the overall first position. The Peshawar team finished second with three silver medals, while Hazara Division secured the third position by winning the team bronze medal.
Addressing the ceremony, chief guest Syed Azhar Ali Shah praised the performance of the young athletes and stated that such events play a vital role in promoting talent at the grassroots level. He also assured full support for the promotion and development of cycling in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The event was successfully organized under the supervision of Organizing Secretary Nisar Ahmed, whose efforts and arrangements were widely appreciated.
