PESHAWAR: The 73rd National Mr. Pakistan and Junior Mr. Pakistan Bodybuilding Championship, along with Mr. Classic, Men’s Physique, Masters, and the 4th Fitness Challenge Pakistan Championship, concluded successfully in Peshawar.
WAPDA’s Zubair Butt clinched the prestigious Mr. Pakistan title, while Jahangir Khan of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa won the Junior Mr. Pakistan title with an impressive performance.
The prize distribution ceremony was attended by Advisor to the Chief Minister for Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Taj Muhammad Tarand, Provincial Minister for Local Government Mina Khan Afridi, MNA Asif Khan, President Peshawar District Irfan Saleem, Chief Organizing Secretary and President Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bodybuilding & Fitness Association, and Senior Vice President Hidayatullah Khalil.
Chief guest Taj Muhammad Tarand distributed trophies among teams and medals to the athletes. On this occasion, the Provincial Minister announced a government job for the bodybuilder who won the title for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In the overall standings, Pakistan WAPDA secured first position with 124 points, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa claimed second position with 54 points, while Pakistan Army finished third with 20 points. The Fitness Challenge Trophy was won by Pakistan Army, followed by Pakistan Police in second place and Punjab in third.

In other categories, Muhammad Hamza Raja (WAPDA) won the Senior Men’s Physique, Usman Khan (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) secured the Junior Physique title, Abdul Manan (WAPDA) claimed the Masters Mr. Pakistan title, while Aftab Khan (WAPDA) topped the Classic Bodybuilding category.
The four-day championship featured teams from Pakistan WAPDA, Pakistan Army, Pakistan Police, HEC, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Islamabad.
The judging panel was led by Tariq Parvez, President Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation, as Chief Judge, along with Khalid Ali (Mr. Pakistan), Arshad Mahmood Mughal (Mr. Pakistan), Sheeraz Muhammad (National Judge), Abdul Ali (National Champion), Yasir Shah (National Champion), and Iftikhar Khan (Army Coach) as judges.
