PESHAWAR: Bacha Khan Hockey Club emerged as the champions of the 3rd Army Chief Inter-Club Hockey Tournament. In the final, Bacha Khan Hockey Club defeated Bacha Khan White Club by 4–2 goals. On this occasion, Regional Sports Officer Peshawar, Kashif Farhan, distributed prizes among the winning players.
While addressing the players, Kashif Farhan encouraged them to continue playing with more hard work, discipline, and dedication. He expressed hope that the youth of Bannu would bring pride to the country at national and international levels in the future. He added that the government and the Sports Department are making continuous efforts to provide better sports facilities to the youth.

At the conclusion of the tournament, prizes were distributed among players who showed outstanding and successful performances. The spectators also showed great enthusiasm and interest during the matches. The local community and sports-related personalities termed the tournament a positive step towards the promotion of hockey.

A total of nine registered hockey clubs from across District Bannu participated in the tournament. The main objective was to promote hockey at the district level and to identify and bring forward new talented players. In line with this goal, players above the age of 30 were not allowed to participate, ensuring maximum opportunities for young players. Each club was also permitted to include two departmental players, which made the competition more competitive and of higher standard.
