PESHAWAR: Provincial minister for excise Syed Fakhar Jehan on Saturday visited Sowarai Buner Sports Complex and Jawan Markaz and reviews progress of work. The minister inspected various components of the facilities including the indoor gymnasium, swimming pool, pavilion, cricket academy and open grounds directing officials concerned to further accelerate work abiding by quality standards. He said these projects were aimed to provide Buner’s youth to national-standard training, grooming and constructive recreational opportunities. He said that establishing modern, multipurpose sports infrastructure in Buner reflects the provincial government’s commitment to promoting youth engagement in healthy and productive activities.
Jawan Markaz, the minister said would function as a service center for youth offering them skill development, training, career counselling and other essential services under one roof.
