
PESHAWAR: The Director Youth Affairs, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr.Nauman Mujahid, visited the under-construction Jawan Marakiz in Haripur and Swabi districts to review pace of work on same development projects.During his visit the Director Youth Affairs inspected various portions of the ongoing developmental projects buildings and directed to ensure, that work is executed strictly in accordance with approved specifications, adding that no substandard construction will be tolerated.He emphasized that the Jawan Marakiz are flagship projects of the provincial government, designed to provide modern facilities and opportunities for youth and therefore, it must reflect the highest standards of quality and timely delivery.He also directed the concerned quarters to maintain strict supervision at every stage of construction.The Director Youth Affairs mentioned that at present,Jawan Marakiz are under construction in Mardan, Swabi, D.I. Khan, Buner, Peshawar (Youth Complex), Haripur, Mohmand, South Waziristan, Lower and North Waziristan.The Director further stated that under the second phase of the initiative, five additional Jawan Marakiz will soon be approved in Shangla, Charsadda, Upper Chitral, Bannu, and Kohat.He reaffirmed the government’s commitment under the supervision of Provincial Minister Sports and Youth Affairs Syed Fakhar Jihan,to youth empowerment, noting that the completion of these centres will provide state-of-the-art spaces for youth development, skill-building and constructive engagement across the province.
