Islamabad: In collaboration with the Pakistan Judo Federation (PJF) and the Islamabad Judo Association, a two-day course for coaches and senior players was successfully conducted at the Islamabad Judo Academy. The event brought together over 30 judokas from across the country.

The course was led by internationally renowned judoka, four-time Olympian, and former European Champion from Austria, Sabrina Filzmoser, with the assistance of Imran Khan Durrani from Pakistan Navy.

The opening session was attended by Masood Ahmed, Secretary General of the Pakistan Judo Federation.
In the concluding ceremony yesterday, distinguished guests including Zareef Khan, President of the Islamabad Judo Association; Fehmida Butt, Treasurer of the PJF; Mubashir Hussain, Secretary of the Gilgit-Baltistan Judo Association; and Azmat Ali from Islamabad Judo Academy, distributed certificates to the participants.
Special appreciation was extended to Irfan Bhatti, Focal Person of the Islamabad Judo Association, for hosting the event.

In his message, Col. (R) Junaid Alam, President of the PJF, highlighted the federation’s continued commitment to the promotion of judo in Pakistan and reaffirmed full support for developing the sport at the grassroots level.
