PESHAWAR: A lacrosse clinic was successfully held in Ayun Valley Chitral under the auspices of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Lacrosse Association. 30 young male players participated in this training workshop, who were taught basic skills and drills of lacrosse. On the instructions of Syed Salar Jahan, President of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Lacrosse Association, this training camp was organized in collaboration with Chitral Lacrosse Association. On this occasion, Secretary of Pakistan Lacrosse Federation Teyfur Zarin, Hasnain Khan, Secretary of Chitral Lacrosse Association Nawabzada were present on this occasion.
The participants were not only trained in the clinic camp, but they were also given free lacrosse sticks, certificates of participation and souvenirs. This initiative is part of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Lacrosse Association’s ongoing efforts to promote lacrosse at the grassroots level in the province. This program is a manifestation of how the youth are being attracted towards healthy activities by promoting the game of lacrosse to remote and mountainous areas.
